Following detailed Feasibility Studies of various options the works
were prepared and executed including:-

Planning Permission. |
| |

Party Wall Agreements. |

Generally:
|
The projects were successful and are all complete with the offices
now being used by Royal Mail staff in the rural area.

Tender Documentation:
|
The form of contract used was IFC 84 with Royal Mail amendments and
were subject to single stage selective tendering. In addition, detailed
plans and a schedule of works, incorporating the Engineering and Security
works were prepared.

On Site Period:
|
The works were programmed for both in hours and out of hours periods,
with temporary arrangements agreed with the local Managers.

Statutory and Other Approvals:

The following approvals were sought
and gained:-

Building alterations.

Fire Officers approval.

Post Office internal authority

Post Contract:

The works have been completed and have now passed their end of defects
