The project was successfully completed
in all the objectives of the Client stated above, on time and within
budget.

Tender Documentation:
|
The form of contract used was the IFC
84 (with variations to accommodate British Waterways requirements) and
was subject to single stage selective tendering. In addition, detailed
plans and a schedule of works, incorporating the Engineering and Security
works were prepared using AutoCAD drafting.

On Site Period:
|
The works were programmed for in office
hours periods, with temporary arrangements agreed for adjoining owners
and canal users. Special arrangements had to be agreed with the Local
Authority Conservation Officer on this Listed Building.
