TONY COLLEY
In 1955, I commenced work as an Articled Pupil with Silk and Frazier in their
Birmingham office. I progressed through the training and management structure
until, post qualification, I became a Team Leader.
In 1970, I became Branch Manager of Crosher and James in their Solihull office.
The office expanded substantially and I became a full equity partner of the
whole practice in 1971. Our client base was extremely wide, covering both
public bodies and private clients, with every type of building contract. The
largest project under my personal supervision was valued at £30m.
I resigned from the Partnership in 1991 and set up in business on my own
account as Cambrian Consultants, specialising in project management and funding.
In June 2000, I joined the Allen Cavanagh Partnership, carrying out a wide
range of surveying duties.
