CAREER HISTORY
Neil is a Director of UKBS Ltd providing building surveying advice to a national portfolio of Clients.
Neil joined Birmingham City Council as a trainee Building Surveyor in 1984
and progress through to Senior Officer Building Surveyor.
The department in which he worked was concerned with the Property Maintenance
Management of the whole of Birmingham City Councils non-housing property portfolio.
Neil's work involved the complete range of building surveying services to
the whole range of the property portfolio. Including education, social services,
crematoria, mortuaries, magistrate courts, leisure centre, offices, shops,
and factory buildings.
Neil joined the Allen Cavanagh Partnership in June 1997 as a Building Surveyor
carrying out the full range of building surveying services as detailed in
our service section of this site. Becoming a partner in January 1999.
EXPERIENCE
Neil has been responsible for providing a full range of Project Management
and Building surveying services to large organisations including Birmingham
City Council, The Royal Mail, NCP, British Waterways, Coventry City Council,
and Coventry University. Specifically these appointments have included :-
- Planned Maintenance Surveys and Programming
- Maintenance Management
- Schedules of Dilapidations
- Schedules of Condition
- Repair and Refurbishment contracts
- Planning Supervision
- DDA Access Consultancy.
